The program IrcamTTS (Text-To-Speech Synthesis) synthesises speach of the high quality needed for use in multimedia and the creative arts. The approach is one of synthesis from a corpus, consisting of the concatanation of acoustic units from a corpus of pre-recorded speech. Corpora for a number of French speakers have been created and are available.

Input: Text file or phonetic spelling.
Output: File of synthesized speech and .lab units allowing a GUI to change the synthesis by altering the selected units.
